When it comes to trying new things, nothing can replace getting input from people who have actually been there and done that. So Kentucky travel and social media pros Rachelle and Tony Wright came up with the idea to create a website that features travel journals from actual trips taken by real, regular people.

Roadtripzee features more than 40 journals from popular destinations including Walt Disney World, Acadia National Park and the San Francisco Bay area.

“Humans crave the shared experience and Roadtripzee taps into that psychology. Our community loves to share first-hand travel information with others,” says Rachelle Wright. “Our team is filled with people who love to travel, love to write, and love to tell a story. Their journals, photos, and videos resonate with our community because they are real tales of the road, captured and told.”

The Wrights created Roadtripzee in 2022 as a platform to build on the success of their KentuckyRoadTrips.com. KentuckyRoadTrips reaches more than 1 million users monthly through the web platform, newsletter, and an incredibly active Facebook Group with 135,000 members.

“The Facebook Groups have become lively forums for road-trippers to share information among themselves,” says Tony Wright.

In addition to Kentucky, Roadtripzee is newly updated with content from 12 additional states:

  • Alabama
  • California
  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Illinois
  • Indiana
  • Louisiana
  • Maine
  • Missouri
  • North Carolina

Additional states will be added often. To contribute your own travel advice, tag your travels with #Roadtripzee and follow along on Facebook and Instagram.
