This miraculous abbey and tiny village below is cut off by the ocean twice a day. But that won’t stop travellers from seeing this marvel.
“Probably one of the best views we’ve even seen,” said a speechless Kev.

Thanks to a connecting bridge, travellers no longer have to wait until low tide to visit Mont Saint-Michel.
”This is so spectacular,” Janetta gushed at first glance, while Kevin added: “It looks incredible.”

Hidden among the maze-like cobble streets is surprisingly, a Michelin Star restaurant.
La Mère Poulard is a restaurant and hotel on Mont Saint-Michel that dates back to 1879. It’s also home to the world’s most famous omelette which was first made 150 years ago.
The omelette was create by Annette Poulard herself, and is described as “fluffy and cooked over a wood fire sprinkled with black truffle”.
It might also be the most expensive omelette we’ve heard of.

“This omelette is €45 (about AU$74),” said Matt slightly shocked. “So, like, we’re not going to order two of those.”
The self-described “omelet connoisseurs” however, did give the dish their tick of approval! As for the boys, they had their sights set on something even more spectacular.
“I’m going to open the keys of heaven,” their tour guide said, while Kev explained: “Through the door is the Stairway to Heaven.”
They walked up to the top and it was high, very high but the view was incredible.
“Probably one of the best views we’ve even seen,” beamed Kev.
